On the track named after Marco Simoncelli, Carlo brilliantly confirmed the good things he showed at his single-seater debut a month and a half earlier at the Varano de' Melegari circuit. The young driver from Mantua took part in the final round of the "FX Italian Series" championship driving a Formula 4 of the Corbetta Racing team, in regular ACI Sport configuration.
Carlo impressed right from Saturday's qualifying session, taking thirteenth overall and second in his class in a field of 29 drivers.
On Sunday, on a wet track, he was forced to retire for a technical problem in race 1, while in race 2 he managed to recover from 25th to tenth place overall, finishing third in the FX2 category and second in the F4 standing. Carlo added two trophies to his palmarès, legitimising in the final part of the season his ambition of being one of the front runners in 2021, hoping to find the necessary sponsors to achieve his ambitious goals.
